Spaces available in Franklin Park single moms group
A group formed in the North Hills in 2016 to help single mothers is accepting new members.
Single Moms CARE gatherd twice a month at Heritage Presbyterian Church in Franklin Park for free family dinners, peer support and discussions about strategies and resources available to deal with the challenges of being a single parent.
The gatherings are held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
Free child care and age-appropriate programs are provided while woman are participating in the meeting.
The programs are facilitated by the non-profit group Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry.

The church is located at 2262 Rochester Road.
