Water main break causing traffic delays along Ingomar Road in McCandless
A water main break early this morning has resulted in traffic restrictions in both directions along West Ingomar Road in McCandless.
The lane restrictions are between Grosick and Valley View roads.
The break was reported shortly before 5 a.m.
Firefighters who responded to the scene are helping residents pump water from the break that entered their basements. At least three homes along Donna Drive, which is below Ingomar Road, suffered flooding damage, according to reports.
The North Allegheny School District posted a notice on social media saying the water main break, which is near Ingomar Elementary School, has not caused problems at the building.
