A customer at a North Versailles tobacco store is $100,000 richer this holiday season after their New Year’s Millionaire Raffle ticket was selected for a weekly drawing prize.

The winner, who was not identified, purchased the ticket at Puff Discount Tobacco, located on Greensburg Avenue.

Seven raffle winners were announced by lottery officials. The raffle leads up to the game’s main drawing on Saturday, which features 6,000 cash prizes totaling more than $5 million, or four prizes of $1 million, four prizes of $100,000, 100 prizes of $1,000 and 5,892 prizes of $100.

The North Versailles winner, whose ticket number is 00267607, purchased the ticket between Dec. 15-21. Those who played the game between those dates can check to see if they are a winner by scanning the ticket checker on the lottery app or at a lottery retailer.

Winners need to make an appointment with a state lottery office to claim their prize. Winnings cannot be claimed at a retailer or by mail.

Tickets for the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle cost $20. Only 500,000 tickets are available, and can be purchased until 8 p.m. on the drawing date or until they’re sold out.
