Norwin has been awarded three grants totalling about $400,000 from the state’s allocation of the federal CARES Act to cover covid-19-related expenses, the school district said.

Norwin got $319,480 from the state Commission on Crime and Delinquency to buy 1,080 iPads and supplies to sanitize and clean the school facilities under the “Technology to Guarantee Distance Learning.” The grant is for covid-19 related expenses from March 1 to Oct. 30.
