Trampoline park fundraiser set for Andrew’s Avengers

Students at Norwin’s Hillcrest Intermediate School will hold a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m Nov. 7 at Sky Zone, a trampoline park at 60 Levin Way, Monroeville, to raise money for Andrew’s Avengers, a nonprofit that helps fund pediatric cancer research.

Sky Zone will donate a portion of each open jump pass purchased, as well as a hot dog or slush drink, to Andrew’s Avengers, said Tina Howell, one of the fundraiser organizers.

Students will sell raffle basket tickets from noon to 3 p.m., with a drawing set for 3 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to wear their Lemonade War or Norwin Spirit Wear to the event.

The open jump tickets can be purchased by visiting SkyZone.Monreoville or at the door.

The event, sponsored by the parents of Hillcrest Intermediate School students, is open to the public.

Andrew’s Avengers is named after Andrew O’Neil, the son of Hillcrest Intermediate School Principal Brian O’Neil, who died of cancer in 2016 at age 5.

Craft, vendor show planned in North Huntingdon

New Hope Church will hold a craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Circleville VFD Social Room, 129 Robbins Station Road., North Huntingdon.

Specialty crafts, seasonal favorites and unique items will be sold by local artisans and vendors.

Admission is free. Lunch can be purchased and a baked goods sale will support mission projects.

A basket raffle will benefit Gray Paws Sanctuary, a group dedicated to rescuing senior dogs.
