Norwin area music festival among upcoming events
Music festival set for Irwin
Another rendition of Music in the Streets is planned from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Aug. 19 in downtown Irwin.
The Tim Woods Family Band will perform on Fourth Street. Gail, Kevin, & Co. will perform at the Lamp Theatre Courtyard along Main Street. David Crisci will perform at the Colonial Grille Taproom at 333 Main St., and Willow Hill will perform in Brandy’s Basement at 200 Main St.
Fall Festival parade participants sought
The parade committee for the Penn Township Fall Festival is offering local individuals, groups and businesses to participate in the parade at 10 a.m. Sept. 18 along Route 130, from the Community United Methodist Church to Penn-Trafford High School in Harrison City.
Lineup begins at 9:30 a.m.
Any individual, organization or business that wishes to participate is to call Steve Ising at 412-559-0920.
North Versailles church to hold Sunday school
All Soul’s Episcopal Church, 127 Canterbury Lane, North Versailles, will begin Sunday school classes at 10 a.m. in September, throughout the school year.
The class is designed for youngsters in preschool through early elementary grades.
