Norwin area: Pirates game, car cruise planned
‘Norwin Knights at PNC Park’ event planned
Tickets are on sale for the “Norwin Knights at PNC Park” outing at 1 p.m. May 1.
The Pittsburgh Pirates take on the San Diego Padres at the game.
Noah Czajkowski and Ty Stecko will throw out the honorary first pitch. The Norwin High School Junior Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps will present the colors and the Norwin High School band will perform the national anthem.
Tickets are $31 and include $10 credit to be used at PNC Park. T-shirts are available.
The event is sponsored by the Norwin School District Community Foundation and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Project Playground, which seeks to renovate the school playgrounds.

Irwin Car Cruise planned
Vintage cars will be on display throughout downtown Irwin at the 30th anniversary car cruise planned for noon to 5 p.m. April 30.
Entertainment will be provided by Daddy G of the Georgio’s “Oldies Cafe” radio show.
The event is sponsored by the Irwin Business & Professional Association.
