A decorated front entrance welcomes guests to the Victorian-style Irwin home featured in a past Norwin Historical Society Holiday House Tour.

The Norwin Historical Society’s annual Holiday House Tour will again be held virtually Dec. 4-5, coupled with a special Dec. 4 indoor “watch party” of the locations with music, a light dinner, wine tasting, and basket raffle planned from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Greenhouse Winery, 2155 Gracin Lane, Rillton.

“This is our major fundraiser for the entire year,” said Geralyn DeFelice, a historical society board member and co-chair of the house tour committee.

The virtual tour of five locations will be filmed by a videographer before the virtual watch dates, then edited and set to music. The video will be about 90 minutes, DeFelice said.

When the committee held a virtual house tour last year, there was a “decent” turnout to watch it, she said.

The virtual house tour costs $15. People who buy tickets can view the holiday house tour anytime Dec. 4-5 until midnight, DeFelice said.

Viewings will be available online via a dedicated link and a unique password from the historical society website will be provided.

To register for the house tour, people can register through the Norwin Historical Society website at norwinhistoricalsociety.org, or visit the Norwin Chamber of Commerce and the Norwin Public Library. The registration deadline is Dec. 2.

Tickets to the virtual tour watch party, where music begins at 3 p.m., are $25.

Those interested in attending the watch party are asked to register by Nov. 26, but later registrants will be accepted, DeFelice said.
