Norwin Lacrosse Club opens registration
Norwin Lacrosse Club is accepting registration from students who attend preschool through eighth grade in the Norwin School District and Queen of Angels school in North Huntingdon.
Registration information is available at www.norwinlax.com. The team plays at St. Agnes Church field and at Oak Hollow Park, both in North Huntingdon, said Trina Gill, club president.
The first practice is March 15 and the first game is April 10, Gill said.
The club is part of a recreational league that competes against Latrobe, Hempfield, Franklin-Regional, Plum, Freeport and Indiana, Gill said.
The club had about 140 children last year, but the season was cut short because of the covid pandemic.
