The sun shined down upon hundreds of people thirsty to support local businesses in Oakmont.

Several breweries and five wineries were among the drink vendors that participated in the second annual Arts & Libations Crawl presented by the Oakmont Chamber of Commerce.

They set up shop in the storefronts of borough businesses up and down Allegheny River Boulevard on May 22.

Musicians Jake Rubenstein and Shelley Duff were among the live entertainment for the event.

Participating businesses included Embroidery From the Heart, Oakmont Skin Care, Oakmont Bakery, Oakmont Olive Oil Co., Castle Toys and Games, Amy’s Dance Academy, Rev22 Salud Juicery, Amanda Lee Glassware, Robert Hallett Jewelers and Oakmont/Cheswick Floral.

Drink vendors included VentiSei Winery, Edgewood Winery, Wigle Whiskey and 4FourSix Distillery.

Funds raised from the event went to the chamber to continue its various community programs.

The first crawl was in 2019. Last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic.
