Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor said Wednesday a search warrant from the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office is seeking information from the city about contracts, among other things.

The DA’s office served the sealed search warrant on Monday,

O’Connor offered no other details about the probe by District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr..

“Obviously they’re looking at other things too,” O’Connor told TribLive during an appearance at an artificial intelligence summit at Bakery Square.

But O’Connor did not divulge what those other things are.

O’Connor said he had “nothing to hide.”

The search warrant has been sealed for 60 days, according to the DA’s office.

City officials have refused to release any paperwork provided by Zappala’s investigators in connection with the warrant.

“The city of Pittsburgh does not comment on investigations but will work cooperatively with court orders,” Molly Onufer, an O’Connor spokeswoman, told TribLive in a written statement.

Zappala’s office has released minimal information but confirmed the warrant was served and said it was sealed for “good cause.”
