Pittsburgh homicide detectives are investigating an early-morning shooting Uptown that left one man in critical condition.

The city’s Shotspotter gunshot detection system alerted officers of shots fired on the 100 block of Dinwiddie Street just before 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.

Officers found a man in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital.

There have been no arrests.

This was the third shooting in the city in a ten-hour span. The first happened around 6 p.m. in Spring Hill, where a 1-year-old boy was killed. The second happened around 2 a.m. in Carrick, leaving one victim in stable condition.
