Paving on the westbound Parkway East scheduled to run from Friday night to Monday morning has finished much earlier.

PennDOT announced late Saturday afternoon that the work in Monroeville, Penn Hills and Wilkins was completed and restrictions were lifted.

The work saw westbound I-376 reduced to a single lane between the Monroeville/Business Route 22 on-ramp and the Churchill exit for milling and paving.

Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, the work was originally expected to last until 5 a.m. Monday.

This work is part of the $70.1 million I-376 Parkway East Betterment Project, which is expected to end in the fall 2026. Swank Construction is the prime contractor.

To receive advisories and construction updates on the project, send email addresses to ymanyisha@pa.gov with “Subscribe — Parkway East” in the subject line.
