Assault, DUI cases among those recently handled by Judge DeLuca in Penn Hills

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police.

Held for court

• Brandon Steele, 28, of Monroeville on charges of aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, driving under the influence, driving an unregistered vehicle, use of improper class of license, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, driving at unsafe speed, no foot rest on motorcycle, not wearing proper headgear on motorcycle, failure to operate motorcycle lamps, careless driving, reckless driving, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, period for requiring lighted lamps, no headlights, no rear lights, operating a vehicle without a valid inspection and two counts of recklessly endangering another person Charges were filed March 10.

• Marco Robinson, 28, of Penn Hills on charges of flight to avoid apprehension. Charges were filed Nov. 18.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Christopher Bigenho Jr., 37, of Pittsburgh on charges of aggravated assault, possession of weapon, resisting arrest and four counts of simple assault. Charges were filed Dec. 11.

• Maurice White, 19, of East Pittsburgh on charges of flight to avoid apprehension. Charges were filed Oct. 20.
