Assault, DUI cases among those recently handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court – Jul. 8, 2019

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

  • Melissa Ofchinick, 44, of Butler on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and reckless driving. Verona police filed the charges July 8, 2018.

  • Malik Cleckley, 43, of Penn Hills on charges of simple assault. Charges were filed June 1.

  • Richard Coleman, 49, of McKees Rocks on charges of driving without a license, turning movements and required signals, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed June 6.

Waived preliminary hearings

  • Nijah Jeffries, 21, of Wilkinsburg on charges of simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed Feb. 12.
