Assault, DUI cases among those recently handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court - Aug. 3, 2020

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Ricco Sears, 34, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving with a suspended license and following too closely. Wilkins police filed the charges March 17.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Cierra Crow, 25, of Pittsburgh on charges of receiving stolen property and two counts of forgery. Charges were filed March 3.

• John Degregorio, 36, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence. Charges were filed April 19.

• Patrick Ludwig, 26, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence and careless driving. Wilkins police filed the charges May 22.

• James Brown, 35, of Indiana on charges of possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed May 12.

• Hunter Eshenbaugh, 21, of Penn Hills on charges of aggravated assault, flight to avoid apprehension and resisting arrest. Charges were filed July 22.
