Assault, DUI cases among those recently handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court - Oct. 20, 2020

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Raheel Asghar, 23, of Oakmont on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Charges were filed Oct. 4.

• Dalemar Satchell, 27, of Penn Hills on charges of harassment and criminal mischief. Charges were filed May 14.

• Demetrius Akers, 44, of Pittsburgh on charges of possession of controlled substances, fleeing or attempting to elude officers, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, illegal parking at intersection, reckless driving, operating a vehicle with unsafe equipment and possession with intent to deliver drug paraphernalia. Pittsburgh police filed the charges Nov. 14.

• Donovan Malloy, 28, of Penn Hills on charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed June 2.

Waived preliminary hearings

• William Quivers III, 21, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, accident involving death or personal injury, firearms not to be carried without a license, person not to possess firearms and two counts of tampering with physical evidence. Charges were filed Oct. 2.

• Christopher Marze, 56, of Penn Hills on charges of criminal trespass. Charges were filed Aug. 19.

• Adriane Farris, 55, of East Pittsburgh on charges of driving without a license and accident involving death or personal injury. Charges were filed July 31.

• Travis Miller, 42, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. Charges were filed June 21.

• Carmen Nobile Jr., 51, of Verona on charges of theft by deception, deceitful business practices and home improvement fraud. Charges were filed June 5.

• Kenneth Faulk III, 34, of Pittsburgh on charges of retail theft and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed April 15.
