Drug, DUI charges among those handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court July 12, 2021

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Daniel Tykarski, 25, of Monroeville on charges of hindering apprehension/prosecution. Charges were filed Feb. 27.

• Edwin Williams Jr., 21, of Penn Hills on charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, improper sunscreening and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed March 25.

• Darnell Brown, 43, of Penn Hills on charges of person not to possess/use firearms. Charges were filed July 1.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Odell Brown, 27, of Penn Hills on charges of disorderly conduct, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and two counts of terroristic threats. Charges were filed Nov. 24.

• Jacqueline Amoroso, 61, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence. Wilkins police filed the charges March 29.

• Jason Stewart, 39, of Wilkins on charges of driving under the influence, accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, two counts of endangering the welfare of children and two counts of simple assault. Wilkins police filed the charges April 18.

• Daryl White, 31, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and reckless driving. Charges were filed May 12.
