Drug, DUI charges among those handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court July 19, 2021
Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.
Held for court
• Montay Morris, 51, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of controlled substances, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, failure to keep right, no headlights and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Sept. 9.
• Anna Mishkov, 26, of Monroeville on charges of retail theft. Charges were filed March 31.
Waived preliminary hearings
• Michael Coleman, 62, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving an unregistered vehicle. Charges were filed April 30, 2020.
• Derrick Blackwell, 52, of Turtle Creek on charges of retail theft. Verona police filed the charges June 17, 2020.
• Pamela Madjerich, 24, of Monroeville on charges of driving under the influence, failure to keep right and careless driving. Charges were filed March 22.
• Denzell Snead, 23, of McKeesport on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license and possession of marijuana. Charges were filed March 27.
• Shakeem Short, 24, of Penn Hills on charges of person not to possess firearms. Charges were filed March 30.
• Ryan Gilliard, 30, of Monroeville on charges of resisting arrest, fleeing or attempting to elude officer, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, obscured plates, improper sunscreening, operating a vehicle without a valid inspection and evidence of emission inspection. Charges were filed April 7.
• Michael Benedict, 26, of McKees Rocks on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest, accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to stop and give information or render aid and failure to notify police of an accident involving damage to vehicle. Charges were filed April 14.
• Duwon Terrell, 25, of Penn Hills on charges of receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana. Charges were filed April 23.
