DUI, drug cases among those recently handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court
Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police.
Waived preliminary hearings
• Mario Fiori, 23, of Verona on charges of driving under the influence, obstruction of highways and illegal parking. Charges were filed May 22.
• Dakota Scheetz, 24, of Arnold on charges of possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, failure to keep right and reckless driving. Charges were filed July 26.
• Wanda Strong, 49, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence and failure to stop at red signal. Charges were filed Aug. 10.
• Brandon Seachrist, 28, of Verona on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and careless driving. Charges were filed Aug. 20.
• Javoni East, 30, of Raleigh, N.C., on charges of accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property, driving under the influence, disregard traffic lane, driving at unsafe speed, careless driving and reckless driving. Charges were filed Oct. 12.
• Ryan Kelley Jr., 20, of Pittsburgh on charges of possession of firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and evidence of emission inspection. Charges were filed Oct. 17.
• Katisha Correll, 27, of Penn Hills on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness. Charges were filed Nov. 5.
