DUI, drug charges among cases handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court May 24, 2021

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Penelope McAllen, 34, of McKeesport on charges of retail theft. Wilkins police filed the charges Dec. 31.

• James Blackmon-Blanchard, 34, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to deliver, disregard traffic lane, turning movements and required signals and careless driving. Charges were filed Feb. 21.

• Semaj Carter, 22, of Monroeville on charges of possession of controlled substances and no rear lights. Charges were filed Feb. 18.

• Richard Burkhart, 80, of Verona on charges of corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children, unlawful contact with a minor and two counts of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age. Charges were filed April 21.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Jeffrey Wilner, 51, of Pittsburgh on charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness and improper right turn. Wilkins police filed the charges Sept. 21.

• Dana Crosby, 39, of Monroeville on charges of driving under the influence, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without a license. Charges were filed Jan 8.

• James Martin Jr., 26, of Turtle Creek on charges of endangering the welfare of children and two counts of simple assault. Wilkins police filed the charges May 6.
