DUI, drug charges among those handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court May 17, 2021
Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.
Held for court
• Sharon Gore, 37, of Turtle Creek on charges of driving under the influence, driving without a license, habitual offenders, driving with a suspended license, disregard traffic lane, careless driving and reckless driving. Charges were filed Oct. 8.
• Derrick Clements, 63, of Penn Hills on charges of evidence of emission inspection, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. Verona police filed the charges March 18.
• Paul Wilkins, 30, of Pittsburgh on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude officer, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, driving at unsafe speed, turning movements and required signals, failure to perform duties at stop sign, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, reckless driving, tampering with physical evidence, accident with damage to unattended vehicle or property, driving under the influence, three counts of possession of controlled substances and three counts of possession with intent to deliver. Charges were filed April 16.
• Amir Thomas, 18, of Penn Hills on charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed April 15.
Waived preliminary hearings
• Tito Donald, 46, of Verona on charges of possession of firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license and driving under the influence. Charges were filed Feb. 13.
• Scott Kleber, 50, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, limitations on driving on left side of road, following too closely and not using low beams. Wilkins police filed the charges Feb. 24.
• Jamon Thomas, 32, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and failure to perform duties at stop sign. Charges were filed Feb. 25.
• Cherie White, 28, of Monroeville on charges of providing false identification to law enforcement, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and two counts of operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. Wilkins police filed the charges July 21.
• Shaborn Woods, 27, of Pittsburgh on charges of possession of controlled substances and public drunkenness. Charges were filed Nov. 9.
• Bradley Milbee, 22, of Turtle Creek on charges of burglary and theft by unlawful taking. Wilkins police filed the charges April 24.
