Stream cleanup

The Thompson Run Watershed Association is seeking volunteers to clean up the Chalfant Run Watershed at the Churchill Valley Greenway.

The cleanup will be held April 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. For more information, email Renee Dolney at renee@chalfantrun.org.

Student news

Brynna Luedde, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2023, has earned the fall 2020 dean’s award with distinction.

Luedde is a political science major and is a graduate of The Ellis School.

Crime tip line

Penn Hills has developed a phone number to call for anyone who wishes to report a crime anonymously.

The number is 412-342-0922.

Bible study, Easter services slated

Monroeville Christian Church will be holding a Bible study at 9:30 a.m. and Easter services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on April 4.

All services will be in-person and broadcast live online from the church’s Facebook page and at MonroevilleChristianChurch.com.

A staffed nursery and children’s classes are available during all service times.
