Andy Warhol Bridge to close for inspection
The Andy Warhol (Seventh Street) Bridge will temporarily close Monday for inspection, according to the Pittsburgh Public Works Department.
The bridge, which connects Downtown Pittsburgh to the North Shore, will close at 6 a.m. Monday and reopen at 3 p.m. July 25. A second closure is scheduled from 6 a.m. July 28 to 3 p.m. Aug. 1. Inspection will be completed by STV Inc. and Sofis Co.
Traffic will be detoured to Fort Duquesne Boulevard, the Rachel Carson (Ninth Street) Bridge and Isabella Street.
The 1,061-foot bridge carries an average of 4,550 vehicles per day. It was last inspected in May 2023.
Rodi Road to close for milling, paving
Rodi Road in Penn Hills will close between Maple Lane and Route 22 at 9 p.m. Friday for a milling and paving project, according to PennDOT.
The road, including the on ramp to the parkway, will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday. The Penn Hills exit along the parkway also will close from 5-9 a.m. Saturday. The detours during the closure will be:

The 43rd Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is happening this weekend.
More than 3,000 vintage vehicles will race through the streets surrounding Schenley Park’s Bob O’Connor Golf Course. There are two racecourses this year — a 2-mile circuit around Schenley Park and a 1-mile hill-climb from Phipps Conservatory to the Neill Log House.
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Admission is $10 per person, which will support nonprofits Autism Pittsburgh and Merakey Allegheny Valley School.
