Travelers who drive on Nadine Road in Penn Hills will need to take a different route indefinitely, PennDOT said July 24.

A section of the road between Allegheny River Boulevard and Lincoln Road has been closed since July 12 after a landslide overturned a retaining wall, causing a portion of the road to collapse.

The suggested detour is to use Allegheny River Boulevard, Sandy Creek, Veron and Lincoln roads.

PennDOT said there is no timeline for when the road will be repaired and reopened.

“When work on the road begins and a timetable has been established, that information will be announced to the public via Facebook, Twitter and Allegheny Alerts,” PennDOT said in a news release.
