Penn Hills School District food service director Tammy Davis recognized three of her staffers at February’s school board meeting.

Danika Frollo and Niko Senge at the high school and Raymond Keys at Linton Middle School were instrumental in getting more than 1,800 meals to students from March through June while schools were closed due to the covid pandemic.

Davis said they prepared at least 260 meals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The staffers received applause and plaques at the Feb. 24 board meeting.

Anxiety managment workshop on tap

Participants will be able to understand how stress and anxiety affect the body, the mind and the emotions. They will learn effective tools to manage anxiety with relaxation techniques and activities to elicit a relaxation response in the body for better overall health.

For more information, or to reserve space, call the clinic at 412-310-0062.
