Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship marked the unveiling of its newly-constructed second floor with a ribbon-cutting event on Sept. 10. This significant upgrade added 11,134 square feet of educational and administrative areas.

The enhancements encompass a maker shop — named in honor of TriState Capital Bank’s generous five-year, $30,000 annual sponsorship — a series of offices, and outdoor amenities like a playground tailored for K-8 students, enhanced driveway facilities, exterior lighting and an additional parking space with a new egress.

The renovation culminates a year-long effort, coming right on the cusp of the new academic year. Attendees included a variety of PHCSE stakeholders celebrating not only the second-floor makeover but also the overarching campus improvements.
