Medical examiner identifies Penn Hills man found fatally stabbed in his home

A man was fatally stabbed Thursday inside his Penn Hills home, Allegheny County Police said.

The county’s 911 center was notified at 4:20 a.m. of a stabbing in the 100 block of Pennoak Drive.

First responders said they found the victim, who had been stabbed multiple times.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Kenneth E. Reynolds, 56. The ME’s office listed his residence as Pittsburgh.

Allegheny County Police detectives are investicating.

A preliminary investigation showed the victim lived in the home with a woman and a teenage boy.

Police said there is no danger to the community.
