All seven Penn Hills school board primary candidates seeking party nods for four seats will be on the November ballot.

Some will be on either the Democratic or Republican side while one will be on both, according to complete but unofficial returns from the Allegheny County Elections Division.

Incumbent Marisa Jamison and Nicole Richardson sought only to be on the Democratic ticket and both were successful with their bids.

Jamison was the top vote-getter on the Democratic side with 3,367 votes. Richardson was second with 3,058 followed by incumbents Evelyn Herbert at 2,901 and Joe Capozoli at 1,628.

Capozoli was the top GOP vote-getter with 707 followed by Nicholas Lombardo with 627 votes, incumbent Michael Tauro with 624 and newcomer Lawrence Choby at 513.

Incumbent Evelyn Herbet appears to be edged out of her bid to be on both tickets with her GOP vote tally of 485.
