Penn Hills School District kicks off spring musical season with Linton’s ‘Frozen Jr.,’ ice cream social

Penn Hills School District’s middle school and high school are kicking off their musical seasons this week.

Linton Middle School, the first to take the stage, will perform “Frozen Jr.”at 7 p.m. March 21 to 23 at Linton’s Auditorium.

Three elementary school students are invited to perform and portray younger versions of characters Anna and Elsa. This is the first time elementary students will be included in a middle school production. Tickets will be available at the door for $5 each.

Penn Hills High School will perform “Shrek the Musical” at 7 p.m. April 25-27 and 2 p.m. April 28.

In addition to the shows, the high school will host an Ice Cream Social with the cast on April 5. All tickets for the high school events can be found at phhsmusical.com.
