Penn Hills police are investigating a domestic incident in which a teen father allegedly threatened to kidnap his son.

Allegheny County dispatch said police and medics were dispatched to the 8900 block of Upland Terrace at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday for the domestic situation.

It was unclear if there were any injuries.

Penn Hills Police Chief Howard Burton confirmed late Wednesday that an 18-year-old man threatened to take his child away, and officers were still gathering information.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Penn Hills police at 412-342-1188.
