There were two significant vehicle crashes in Penn Hills over the weekend.
On Saturday evening, a crash sent nine people to area hospitals, according to Penn Hills EMS.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Allegheny River Boulevard and Sandy Creek Road.
TribLive news partner WTAE reported that Allegheny County dispatch confirmed the county medical examiner was not called to the scene.
Penn Hills EMS said the scene was cleared just after 1 a.m. early Sunday morning.
On Sunday evening, a driver rolled a blue pickup over in the area of Old William Penn Highway and Wexford Lane, according to WTAE.
The driver was able to exit the vehicle before first responders arrived, according to the Penn Hills No. 7 Volunteer Fire Company.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
The driver was evaluated by paramedics and appeared uninjured.
