Imani Roberts of Monroeville and her dog, a 3-month-old bichon named Mellow, takes a break from playing with Chris Lawton of Plum and his dog, a 2-year-old soft-coated wheaten terrier named Dreyfus, at the dog park in Boyce Park in Plum on Wednesday afternoon.

People and pets from all over flocked to Boyce Park in Plum on Wednesday to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine.

Temperatures were in the low 70s most of the day.

Park walkers were treated to the flute playing of Penn Hills resident and retired teacher Mike Stur.

The dog park by the basketball courts had both large and small canines running around their respective areas chasing balls tossed and kicked by their owners.

Some sections of the park were closed off due to construction.
