Winning smiles, winning game at 2024 Penn Hills homecoming

The Penn Hills varsity football team hosted the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils at Yuhas McGinley for the first time in 17 years for the district’s 2024 homecoming game Oct. 11.

During the game, between the first and second quarters, Penn Hills alumni who were being inducted into the Penn Hills Hall of Fame were recognized on the field.

At halftime, members of the homecoming court were introduced. Seniors Martel Palmer Mollett and Mackenzie McIntyre were crowned homecoming king and queen. Other members of this year’s homecoming court were Laura Barrett, Naomi Dordal, Kristin Hopkins, Omarah McKenzie, Bella Pivirotto, Ariyauna Trowell, Hunter Boyd, Zach Burkovich, Anthony Collins, Amaree’ Freeman, Ki’Moi Guiste and Lucian McCollim.

Penn Hills capped the night with a 42-34 victory.
