Diaper collection, spring banquet and bingo

Diaper collection set

The Level Green Presbyterian Church, 105 Olive Drive, will be hosting a diaper collection drive from 10 a.m. to noon May 13 in the church parking lot. The drive-thru event will benefit the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank.

All diaper sizes are being collected. Diapers in sizes 4,5 and 6 and pull ups for potty training are the most requested at the Diaper Bank. Boxes of baby wipes will also be collected. All donations of diapers and baby wipes must be unopened.

The Diaper Bank is also able to make purchases of diapers in bulk. Any monetary donations that are received at the collection drive will be given to the Diaper Bank for this purpose.

Anyone who is unable to make it to the collection drive event is also welcome to bring their donations to the church’s Mother’s Day worship services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. May 14.

Presbyterian Women’s Spring Banquet planned

The Level Green Presbyterian Church, 105 Olive Drive, is inviting all women in the community to join them for their annual Presbyterian Women’s Spring Banquet at 6 p.m. May 16 in the church’s fellowship hall.

This year’s banquet will be catered by Keith’s Katering. Participants will have their choice of stuffed chicken breast or stuffed steak. Meals will also include mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, dessert, and beverage.

Reservations may be made by calling the church office at 412-372-5370. The cost for those 11 years and older will be $15. Meals for kids 10 and younger will be $8. All reservations must be paid May 7.

Dinner will be followed by a special performance by Kelly Hylton, a professional Elvis Presley tribute artist. Hylton has performed his Elvis themed shows in more than 14 states.

Bingo at St. Barbara Parish

St. Barbara Parish, Raymaley Road., Harrison City, will host a monthly bingo on May 3. Must-Go $1,400 Jackpot; Games $110; Specials $150, All-Nighter $1700. Paper packages start at $27. Doors open 5 p.m.; early-birds 6:45 p.m. Monitors & number boards are used. Info: 724-744-7474 or 724-744-4584.
