Penn Area Library to hold book sale, seniors to meet
The Friends of the Penn Area Library will hold a book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 6 and 9 to 3 p.m. Aug. 7 at the library’s multipurpose room at the municipal complex in Harrison City.
The Friends group has been collecting donations for more than a year and has a large supply of books, jigsaw puzzles, DVDs and CDs to sell.
Donations are accepted at the library during normal business hours. VHS tapes, textbooks and encyclopedias are not accepted.

Penn Township Senior Citizens will meet
The Penn Township Senior Citizens will meet Tuesday, July 27, at the Community Church, 3487 Rt. 130, Harrison City.
Lunch will be served at 1 p.m., with the meeting at 2 p.m. Lunch is $6, dues are $2. Please bring a wrapped prize for bingo.
Masks are optional.
