Trafford Elementary students get art boxes

Students at the Trafford Elementary School received art boxes for the new school year from UPMC East hospital in Monroeville.

Christine Morain, point of care coordinator in lab administration at UPMC East, spearheaded the drive to help all students in first through fifth grades with a donation of 200 art boxes.

The art boxes have an assortment of supplies, such as a pencil, eraser, glue stick, scissors, crayons and markers.

Classes began last week.
