Women’s club sells wreaths for graves of veterans

The Level Green Community Women’s Club is selling fresh wreaths for $15 to be placed on the graves of veterans at Union Cemetery in Irwin or the Immaculate Conception and Long Run cemeteries in North Huntingdon on Dec. 17 .

Those interested can sponsor a remembrance wreath to be placed on a veteran’s grave as part of the North Huntingdon chapter of Wreaths Across America.

The deadline for online orders is Nov. 30. Orders should be placed through the Level Green Community Women’s Club’s page at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org.

Those wanting to pay by check can make the note payable to Wreaths Across America and mail it to P.O. Box 63, Trafford, PA 15085.

Mikey Dee will entertain Super Seniors group

Super Seniors of Westmoreland County will meet at noon Dec. 6 in the Community United Methodist Church on Route 130 in Harrison City.

Entertainment will be Mikey Dee, who will play the accordion and sing.

Lunch is $6 and reservations are needed for new attendees.
