Super Seniors to meet in Harrison City

The Super Seniors of Westmoreland County will meet at noon July 6 at the Community United Methodist Church, Route 130, Harrison City.

Ventriloquist Cindy Speck provide the entertainment. Lunch will be $6 and non-members must make reservations by calling Linda at 724-744-3993.

Reservations are mandatory for non-members. Members who have not been vaccinated are required to wear a mask.

Penn-Trafford employees retire

Several Penn-Trafford employees retired at the end of the school year:

• Janna Belavic, 24 years as an elementary teacher.

• Clare Donnelly, 24 years as teacher.

• Beverly Formato, 27 years as a member of the administrative support staff.

• Jeanie Grupp, 13 years as a paraprofessional.

• Deb Hajduk, 35 years a custodian.

• Brian Hyland, 14 years as a social studies teacher.

• Shirlane Leonard, 16 years as a paraprofessional.

• Aimee Markilinski, 28 years as a school nurse.

• Kathleen Naugle, 17 years a custodian.

• Joan Spehar, 21 years as a paraprofessional/personal care assistant.

• John Susich, two years as a custodian.

• Sandy Szmyd, 12 years a paraprofessional/personal care assistant.
