The Penn-Trafford High School Alumni Hall of Fame inducted 12 members into its first class, 18 months after its inaugural ceremony was delayed because of covid restrictions.

The inductees gathered with family and friends and Penn-Trafford administrators at the Manor Valley Golf Club for a luncheon, followed by the awards and remarks.

Those inducted were: Gregory S. Ager, Deacon Dan Frescura, Jennifer Casino Haberberger, Regis Holden, John W. Mochnick, Reynold A. Peduzzi, John M. Pultan, David S. Richards, Terri Lee Johnson Roberts, Alan J. Rudick, Nancy J. Wallis and Paul Zeise.

They received a commemorate crystal award; a Penn Trafford pin; and state Senate and House honorable citations, courtesy of Sen. Kim Ward, R-Hempfield, and Rep. George Dunbar, R-Penn Township; said Virginia Stump, a Hall of Fame committee member.

“The ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to recognize the inspiring individuals who represent alumni of Penn Trafford High School through their many contributions to our community and the broader society,” said David Patosky, president of the Penn-Trafford Alumni Hall of Fame.

Amy Horvat, assistant high school principal, conducted a tour of the school for the inductees, many of whom had not seen the renovations, which were completed in 2016.

The Hall of Fame committee is seeking nominees for the Class of 2022, as well as gifts and volunteers for the organization, Stump said. More information and nomination forms are available on the Penn-Trafford High School website.
