Richland fall leaf pickup

Richland Township residents whose Vogel collection day is Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday will have leaf collections Oct. 21, Nov. 11 and Dec. 2. Residents whose Vogel collection day is Thursday or Friday will have leaf collections Oct. 23, Nov. 13 and Dec. 4. All bags must be out before 6 a.m. on the day of pickup. All leaves, garden residue and cuttings must be in biodegradable paper bags weighing less than 40 pounds. Tree trimmings must be smaller than 3 inches in diameter and shorter than 48 inches and be bound into manageable bundles.

Library board opening

The Township of Pine has a volunteer opportunity as a liaison on the Northern Tier Regional Library Board. Interested residents may email or send a letter of interest to Township of Pine, 230 Pearce Mill Road, Wexford, PA 15090, Attn: Stephanie Olszewski.

Women’s Business Network

The Women’s Business Network’s mission is to provide personal and professional resources to advance the presence of aspiring and successful businesswomen. Area meetings are being conducted in a virtual format and are open to local women professionals and entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, each member gets a 30-second commercial to talk about their business, with one member presenting a spotlight on their business, and one presenting a Table Topic on a subject of value to the membership.

The Criders Corners Chapter meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at noon. The next meeting is Sept. 24. Guests are welcome to attend at no cost. For details, contact Sherri at 412-760-9601.
