Book drive

The Rich-Mar Rotary Club is starting a collection drive to donate books to for kids to have at home and to use throughout the summer months when their reading skills would otherwise atrophy.

Bring any books you may no longer use to Rich-Mar Rotary Club meetings (Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. at Treesdale Country Club) over the next few months, or text Dave Hein at 412-807-1340 and he will pick up whatever you have. Rich-Mar Rotary Club will accept books all the way through high school level, although elementary level books are most preferred.

Host families wanted

The Council on International Educational Exchange is looking for host families in the Pine-Richland School district to host foreign exchange students for the 2023-24 school year. One student is 15 from Spain, and another is 17 from Italy. All student expenses are already covered, and a host family only needs to put another plate on the table and welcome the student into their family.
