Pine Richland High School senior Grace Hazlett, viola, has earned a spot in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association All-State Festival Orchestra, which will be held April 19-23. This is the second consecutive year that Hazlett has earned a place in the prestigious orchestra.
Pine Richland High School senior Tara Staresinic was named an affiliate winner in the National Center for Women and Information Technology Aspirations in Computing competition. The competition honors students in grades nine through 12 for computing-relating achievements.
Francesca Pettinato made the dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic for the fall 2022 semester.
Kush Bandi and Lauren Duderstadt earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for the fall 2022 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
Paige Longmore recently competed in an English IHSA Regional Show held at the University of Findlay. UF competed against Albion College, Bowling Green State University, Lake Erie College, University of Akron, and University of Toledo. Riders that placed first or second will compete individually in the English IHSA Zones at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, on April 1. Longmore won sixth place in Introductory. UF’s English equestrian team was set to compete in the Tournament of Champions on March 25 at the University of Findlay.
Ariana Goitz, a senior international business and management major at Dickinson College made the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester. Goitz is a graduate of Shady Side Academy and is the child of Robert and Stephanie Goitz of Gibsonia.
