Tickets cost $6 per child for Pine’s upcoming Halloween Spooktacular from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 19 in Pine Community Park.

Pine invites residents and neighbors to its Halloween Spooktacular, a festive, family-friendly event set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 19 in Pine Community Park.

The event, which will take place between the Finley and Keys pavilions on the Pearce Mill Road side of the park, will include live entertainment and plenty of Halloween cheer.

This year’s Spooktacular is a new event for the township, as opposed to the typical trunk-or-treat.

And the Spooktacular isn’t just about costumes and candy — it’s about community. The event aims to bring together neighbors, friends and families to celebrate the season in a safe, welcoming environment.

“Bringing our community together through joyful, inclusive events like the Halloween Spooktacular is what the Township of Pine is all about,” said Tyler Walker, director of Parks and Recreation. “We can’t wait to see the park filled with smiling faces, creative costumes and Halloween spirit.”

The Parks and Recreation Department is planning a morning full of fall festivities for participants of all ages.

Attendees can stroll down Candy Corn Lane, decorate pumpkins to take home and enjoy Halloween-themed crafts.

Weird Eric will put on a Halloween magic show at 10:30 a.m. at the Friends of Pine Amphitheater. Inky’s Haunted Woods Adventure puppet show will take place at 12:15 p.m., also at the amphitheater.

Registration is required for the event, and tickets are $6 per child. Costumes are encouraged, and children should bring their own bags for candy.
