Man in critical condition following Sunday shooting in Highland Park

One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition following a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Highland Park neighborhood Sunday night, authorities said.

Police and EMS responded to the 800 block of Farragut Street around 8:20 p.m. where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his neck, Pittsburgh police spokesman Maurice Matthews said. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

No other injuries were reported. Police are investigating the incident.
