A 17-year-old boy is in stable condition Saturday morning after a shooting Friday night in Wilkins Township.

Police responded to the 100 block of Ivy Street at 8:47 p.m. Jan. 24 and discovered the teen with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder and lower right abdomen.

Allegheny County detectives said the teen was headed to a house on the 500 block of Tongalucas Street and after getting out of his car, encountered two males who began shooting at him.

The two men then got into the teen’s car, a green Toyota Camry with the license plate HPV-4328 and fled the scene. Detectives believe the vehicle may have moderate to heavy front-end damage, and are currently searching for information on the vehicle and occupants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Allegheny County Police at 833-255-8477, or to reach out on social media.
