Three people were hospitalized, two in critical condition and a third reported to be stable, after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood.

City police responded to a ShotSpotter alert along the 1200 block of Mohler Street about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities said officers discovered a man who has been shot in the area of his collarbone. He was alert. Medics transported him to a hospital in critical condition.

Police reported finding two more victims a short time later along the 7500 block of Upland Street.

Authorities said one man was shot in the chest and arm. He, too, was listed in critical condition.

A third victim was shot in the leg; he was listed in stable condition.

City police towed a vehicle from the Upland Street scene as part of the investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
