A nearly four-month long project to replace a crumbling bridge along Rodi Road in Wilkins Township begins Monday, according to PennDOT.

The bridge traversing Chalfont Run is between William Penn Highway and Penn Center Boulevard.

Rodi Road will close to traffic in both directions at the bridge through early July.

A posted detour will take traffic around the construction zone.

The prime contractor for the nearly $1 million project is Clearwater Construction Inc. of Mercer.
