4 more deaths, 14 new cases of coronavirus reported in Allegheny County

Four more coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Allegheny County on Saturday, bringing the death toll to 150, according to health department officials.

The number of confirmed and probable cases of the virus rose by 14 to 1,753. The first case was reported in the county on March 14.

Nearly 28,000 tests have been administered in Allegheny County, which moved to the yellow phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan May 15.

The number of patients who are or have been hospitalized in the county rose by three to 317. The majority of those hospitalized have been 50 and older.
