Spanish celebration

ENIX Brewing in Homestead is hosting Feria, a festival from the south of Spain from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Guests will enjoy watching flamenco dancers while listening to live music.

For the little ones

The EQT Children’s Theater Festival presented by Pittsburgh Cultural Trust offers family friendly professional theater performances from around the world, in addition to 50 free hands-on activities, workshops and pop-up performances for kids of all ages Friday through Sunday in the Cultural District, Downtown.

There are some ticketed performances by theater companies from the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark and Mexico, along with two from the U.S.

The final performance

This is the last weekend to attend Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Paula Vogel’s Tony Award-nominated play, “Indecent.” The final show is Sunday at the O’Reilly Theater, Downtown. The production is directed by Carnegie Mellon University graduate Risa Brainin. In the play, an ensemble of 10 actors and musicians follow the trajectory of Sholem Asch’s controversial “God of Vengeance,” the first play by a Jewish playwright to open on Broadway, a press release said. It was created in 1906 when the Yiddish writer was 26 years old.

Evening shopping

The Night Markets at Market Square, Downtown, open Saturday. This weekly outdoor Saturday pop-up shopping experience runs from 5 to 10 p.m. through Oct. 26 and features local independent vendors selling everything from clothing to furniture to candles and food.

A purrfect event

The Lawrenceville Cat Crawl is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, beginning at 4101 Butler St. in Lawrenceville. The event invites shoppers to “cat crawl” thought the various shops along Butler St. to visit adoptable cats and kittens. There will be specials offered at the stores, with part of the proceeds benefiting Animal Friends.
